Construction management consultancy, Cube is one of only three companies to have been approved as an official partner in Constructionline and Once For All’s (OFA) new Compliance Partner Programme.
Designed to make achieving compliance certification simpler and more reliable for subcontractors and suppliers across the built environment, the programme aims to streamline compliance within Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) and the Common Assessment Standard (CAS) and gives Once For All customers the chance to get expert guidance on Constructionline, Facilitiesline, Builder’s Profile and Material Supplier memberships, as well as the ability to source support on compliance from rigorously audited partners
Just three businesses, Cube, Rhino Safety and Stallard Kane, have so far successfully passed an official audit by the Once For All team, demonstrating the highest levels of competence in relation to either SIPP and CAS and how these align with the Building Safety Act. Compliance partners must continually prove their ability to accurately represent UK subcontractors and suppliers operating in the built environment industry through annual audits.
Cube has delivered training in construction management and the Building Safety Act to more than 1,500 construction professionals nationwide and provides consultancy for teams looking to evidence competence, capability and compliance within their construction processes.
Nicola Slater co-founder and construction consultant at Cube, said: “We worked closely with Once For All in a series of Building Safety Act webinars last year, supporting their members with understanding the building safety requirements section of the Common Assessment Standard, so we were really pleased to be approached to be part of the new Compliance Partner Programme. We work with firms seeking support with demonstrating competence and compliance. As an approved partner we hope to support businesses looking to better understand and meet their legal obligations to deliver compliant works.”
Constructionline is part of the Once For All Group, European leaders in risk management, compliance, supply chain management & sourcing for the construction and facilities management industries.
Originally created as a government department, Constructionline has been supporting thousands of businesses across the public and private sectors, for over 20 years. Constructionline opens up opportunities for its members to access a wide range of procurement contracts and projects – and for buyers to access a validated pool of high-quality suppliers.
A spokesperson from Once for All said: “Navigating industry regulations and achieving the necessary certifications can be complex. Recently we've seen an increasing number of our customers use third parties to submit Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ) answers to questions within the CAS.
“Compliance is an important but ever more complex topic with new regulation like the Building Safety Act in place. We wanted to provide a clear route to help our customers achieve verified subcontractor compliance membership from Once For All, so have launched the Compliance Partner Programme to realise that. We’re building a trusted ecosystem to support the industry in achieving and maintaining the highest compliance standards.”
